Provectus Capital Partners Launches Burra Group to Create a Leading Regional IT Platform

Provectus Capital Partners (“Provectus”), through PCP SEE Fund II, has partnered with the founders of Devōt, Tacta and CoreLine to establish Burra Group, a software engineering services platform created to bring together specialized IT companies with strong engineering capabilities, domain expertise and international client relationships.

Devōt, Tacta and CoreLine together bring more than 130 software engineers and complementary expertise across different technologies, industries and international markets. The founders of all three companies will retain minority ownership stakes and remain actively involved in the operational development, growth and integration of Burra Group.

Devōt is an AI-assisted software engineering company primarily serving clients in the US HealthTech and FinTech sectors. Tacta is an enterprise software development company focused primarily on the financial services industry and other highly regulated sectors in Belgium and France. CoreLine is an AI-first digital solutions provider with strong expertise in mobile development and UX design, serving mainly international clients from UK and US.

The creation of Burra Group marks the first step in a broader strategy to build a scaled software engineering services platform by bringing together specialized IT companies from Southeast Europe. The strategy is supported by the region’s strong engineering talent base and fragmented market structure, as well as the ongoing transformation of the software development industry driven by artificial intelligence, which is creating opportunities for companies with deep domain expertise and the ability to deliver complex technology solutions for enterprise clients.

Burra Group will be led by Sven Marušić, a seasoned technology executive with leadership experience in international IT organizations and a track record of successful founder exits through strategic sale processes.

“The technology services market is entering a new phase driven by artificial intelligence. Burra’s objective is to bring together companies with strong engineering teams, proven domain expertise and the ability to solve complex business challenges in an AI-first environment. By combining capabilities across the group, we aim to create a platform capable of supporting large enterprise clients, accelerating innovation and expanding the reach of regional technology expertise into markets such as Germany, the UK and the US,” said Sven Marušić, CEO of Burra Group.

“The launch of Burra Group represents an important step for Provectus into the technology sector, one of the most active areas of private equity investment globally. While M&A activity in the regional technology sector has historically been driven primarily by strategic acquisitions, we believe there is a significant opportunity to build a regional platform that brings together the strong engineering capabilities developed in Southeast Europe and supports the next stage of growth for local technology companies. We believe this initiative can create new opportunities for the broader regional technology ecosystem,” said Ivan Dujmović, Partner at Provectus Capital Partners.

Provectus will continue to support the growth of Burra Group through investments in specialized IT companies, with the objective of further expanding the platform’s technological expertise, delivery capabilities and presence across international markets.
