Provectus Capital Partners at the 25th Annual Conference of the Macedonian Stock Exchange

Silvijo Radušić, Managing Director at Provectus Capital Partners, participated in the 25th Annual Conference of the Macedonian Stock Exchange in Ohrid.

Silvijo joined the panel “Alternative Sources of Financing – Experiences and Perspectives”, which brought together representatives of the private equity, banking and investment communities to discuss the development of alternative sources of capital in Southeast Europe.

Drawing on Provectus Capital Partners’ experience investing across the Adriatic region, Silvijo discussed the development of the regional private equity ecosystem and the growing participation of institutional investors in the asset class. He highlighted the importance of experienced local investment teams, a proven track record and institutional initiatives in attracting private capital, as well as the opportunity for private equity to support the growth of regional SMEs by combining organic growth with expansion across markets and consolidation within fragmented sectors.

“The relatively small and fragmented markets in our region create a strong opportunity for private equity. By partnering with ambitious founders and management teams, we can help companies expand beyond their home markets, consolidate sectors and build businesses with greater scale and stronger regional positions,” Silvijo said.

The discussion also addressed the evolving relationship between founders and private equity investors and the range of exit opportunities available as companies achieve greater scale.
