Provectus Capital Partners at Management Business Forum 2026: Funding the Next Generation of Regional Champions

This was the central theme of the panel "Who Is Funding the Next Generation of Regional Champions?" at this year's Management Business Forum (MBF) in Rovinj, featuring Marko Galić, Partner at Provectus Capital Partners, alongside representatives of venture capital, mezzanine financing and other private equity investors.

The discussion explored the different financing needs of businesses throughout their development, the role of various investor types and what it takes to build companies capable of competing across regional markets.

Drawing on Provectus' investment strategy and experience, Galić shared perspectives on how private equity can support the transformation of successful local businesses into regional market leaders. He highlighted the role of buy-and-build strategies, combining acquisitions with organic growth, business integration and active ownership, as well as the importance of close cooperation with founders and management teams in building larger, more competitive businesses.
