Zagreb, August 22nd, 2022 – Provectus Capital Partners (PCP), an investment company focused on the markets of Southeast Europe, has realized its fourth investment in the private healthcare sector this year through the Aviva Medical Group. Following the acquisition of the Aviva Polyclinic in 2021, as well as Dijagnostika 2000 Polyclinic, Uro Centar Polyclinic, and Special Hospital for Orthopedics and General Surgery Dr. Nemec from Matulji in the first half of 2022, all of which have all been consolidated in the Aviva Medical Group, there will now be a fifth member joining these healthcare institutions – the Special Hospital Arithera.
Special Hospital Arithera is one of Croatia’s largest private hospitals that has positioned itself as a well- known regional center for the treatment of all orthopedic injuries and conditions. “I am delighted that we have continued with the expansion of the Aviva Medical Group, which has now been joined by another renowned Croatian specialty hospital. “With our latest investment, we will be providing our customers with an even broader spectrum of specialty medical services, together with the highest service quality, as well as securing an even stronger market position and continued investments in raising the quality of service levels across all the healthcare institutions within our group,” added dr. sc. Nevenka Kovač, MD/Ph.D., Director of the Aviva Polyclinic.
Special Hospital Arithera was founded by Željko Došen and Arijana Hegediš Došen, the latter being the hospital’s current director and co-owner. Nowadays, the hospital provides a diverse range of medical services, including physical medicine and rehabilitation, robotic neurorehabilitation, orthopedics, vertebrology and spinal surgery, abdominal surgery, proctology, phlebology, cardiology, dermatology and anti-aging medicine, plastic, reconstructive and esthetic surgery, and physical examinations.
“Thanks to all our employees’ entrepreneurial vision and efforts, over the past 25 years we have been steadily building the Special Hospital Arithera brand. Today, that brand is synonymous with dependable, high-quality, and highly standardized medical services tailored to suit the needs of our patients . Our vision has increasingly wider horizons and, to realize it , we need a reliable strategic partner focused on improving the healthcare services in Croatia. We have found such a partner in the investment company Provectus Capital Partners and Aviva Medical Group. The Aviva Medical Group’s targeted investments in the healthcare market consolidation will provide all group members with financial strenght allowing them to achieve faster growth and development, and take the leading positions in the private healthcare sector. Such a consolidated healthcare institution is an added value for all the patients in Croatia,” concluded Arijana Hegediš Došen, shareholder and Director of Special Hospital Arithera.
