Zagreb, 26 January 2022 – The Aviva Polyclinic, one of the leading polyclinics in Croatia, took over the specialist Dijagnostika 2000 Polyclinic which focuses on radiology. Dijagnostika 2000 is the first private diagnostics facility which was equipped with an MRI machine back in 1996. Since then, it has positioned itself as a centre of excellence, based on world standards of work organisation, primarily in the radiology profession, keeping abreast of and training in the latest diagnostic methods.
“Dijagnostika 2000 will strengthen the position of the Aviva Polyclinic in radiological diagnostics and ensure added value for more than 40,000 clients. This is our second investment in the private health sector, as one of the directions of our investment activities,” said Igor Čičak, CEO and main partner of PCP, as well as Chairman of the Aviva Board of Directors.
“We have started a large investment cycle, both in equipping the Aviva Polyclinic and in our employees, as well as in investing in other top specialist healthcare institutions with which we can ensure a market advantage. We begin the financial year with our first investment and our goal is to realise a few more during 2022,” said Nevenka Kovač, MD/PhD, Director of the Aviva Polyclinic.
Dijagnostika 2000 owns two state-of-the-art MRI machines: SIEMENS – MAGNET AVANTO with a strength of 1.5T and MAGNET LUMINA with a strength of 3T. It has contracts with all major insurance companies and the Croatian Health Insurance Fund.
“We see significant advantages of coming under the wing of the Aviva Polyclinic, both for the further development of our business and for the further development of our specialist team. Providing healthcare at the highest level requires significant investments in both technology and people and we are extremely pleased to have found a partner in Aviva who can support this,” said Bojan Jernej, MD, Director of the Dijagnostika 2000 Polyclinic.
The Aviva Polyclinic is a renowned Zagreb private polyclinic with a tradition spanning more than 40 years. It is also one of the largest private polyclinics in the country. As a chosen provider of healthcare services for patients, companies and insurance providers, the clinic offers a wide range of services in the areas of prevention, diagnostics, treatment and rehabilitation.
Provectus Capital Partners is an investment company focused on the markets of southeast Europe, which invested in the Aviva Polyclinic through the ASEF expansion capital fund (Adriatic Structured Equity Fund). The investment by the Aviva Polyclinic in the Dijagnostika 2000 Polyclinic was also supported through the ASEF Fund.
