Zagreb, 20 May 2025 – Provectus Capital Partners (PCP), the Founder of the leading regional private equity fund, continues to expand its network of regional offices and grow its team. Following the launch of its Bucharest office, PCP has now opened an office in Sofia, further solidifying its presence in Southeast European markets.
The Sofia office will be led by Georgi Tsonev, who previously led the Investment Banking division at UniCredit Bulbank and held senior leadership positions at PwC and KPMG, where he was responsible for numerous M&A transactions across Bulgaria and Southeast Europe. Also part of the team is Senior Analyst Hristiyan Nedkov, who joined PCP from his role as an M&A Manager focused on transaction execution and operational improvements. Prior to that, he worked in investment banking at UniCredit Bulbank and in strategic consulting at a London-based boutique advisory firm. Together, Tsonev and Nedkov will be responsible for sourcing, executing, and monitoring PCP’s investments in Bulgaria.
The opening of the Sofia office expands PCP’s regional footprint and brings the total number of financial professionals across the firm to 14, all focused on identifying and executing investment opportunities in Southeast Europe.
"Through our first fund, we invested over €150 million across Croatia and Slovenia, demonstrating our ability to identify strong opportunities and create value within our portfolio companies. With our second fund, we are expanding our reach across Southeast Europe, and building a local presence through regional offices is a key part of our approach. Strong partnerships, transparency, and continuous dialogue with company management/ founders are the foundation of our success,” said Igor Čičak, Chairman of the Board and Managing Partner of PCP.
